• Business listing data — Business name, address, phone number, website, hours, and category information you provide or that we retrieve from public directory APIs on your behalf.
• Contact information — Your email address when you request a scan, sign up for updates, or create an account.
• Third-party account data — When you connect services such as Google Business Profile or Facebook, we receive an access token and the listing data associated with your accounts. We only access the data necessary to manage your listings.
• Usage data — Standard web analytics (pages visited, browser type, IP address) collected via cookies or similar technologies.

How We Use Your Information

• To scan, monitor, and update your business listings across directories.
• To send you listing health reports and update confirmations.
• To communicate with you about your account and our services.
• To improve our product and user experience.

Third-Party Services

We interact with third-party directory platforms (Google, Facebook, Yelp, Foursquare, Bing, Apple Maps, and others) to read and update your business listings. When you connect an account, we act on your behalf using the permissions you grant. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you cancel, we delete your stored access tokens within 30 days. Listing scan results may be retained in anonymized form for product improvement.

Data Security

Access tokens and credentials are stored encrypted at rest. We use HTTPS for all data transmission. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@listkeeper.org. If you connected a third-party account, you can revoke access at any time through that platform’s settings.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on our website.
